Marketing Communications Executive
This role is fixed term until 31 December 2026
The role
You will support the creation and delivery of marketing communications plans for the programmes we deliver for clients, including government, combined and local authorities and other organisations.
You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing activity is delivered on brand, on time and within budget.
You will contribute to the growth and development of our marketing activities.
You will actively measure the impact of our campaign activity and support with the reporting of appropriate marketing metrics, ensuring learnings from previous campaigns inform future activity.
The team
You will join the Marketing Services team which is made up of around 20 colleagues based across the UK. We deliver high-quality marketing and communications activity for our clients across a range of programmes, from energy advice to households to low-carbon travel support for businesses and local authorities.
The Marketing Services team works with other colleagues in our Marketing, Digital and Technology centre of excellence to design, deliver and continuously improve our products and services to delight our customers and exceed our business goals. We work in an increasingly agile way, and we are customer-centric, product-orientated and data-driven in all that we do.

What you will do
You will create and deliver campaign activity to support the achievement of strategy objectives.
You’ll work across the whole range of the marketing mix including (but not limited to) social media, SEO, digital advertising, content creation, email marketing and print collateral.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with and provide expert marketing guidance and advice to programme stakeholders.
What you will bring
Essential:
Excellent communication skills including a demonstrable ability to write clearly for different audiences, and to manage and adapt content for digital and offline channels
Results-orientated with an excellent eye for detail
Experience in developing, executing, tracking and analysing multi-channel marketing campaigns to achieve specific objectives
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing and prioritising your own workload and always delivering on time and to budget
Experience of digital marketing strategies including SEO, paid search, paid social media and email marketing
Experience in managing competing priorities of internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, agencies and suppliers
Desirable:
Experience of using website content management systems such as Drupal, WordPress etc.
Experience of using creative and editing software such as Canva, Adobe, Biteable
Numerical skills including budget management
