Recruitment FAQs

Yes, most of our interviews are virtual. We now use TeamTailor to manage the process, so you’ll receive your interview details and video link directly through the platform. Typically, interviews are conducted via Microsoft Teams, but the link will always be included in your confirmation email and reminders. For some roles, an in-person interview may still be required, and we’ll let you know if that applies.
-
We don’t currently record interviews, but we do have tools that allow us to create transcripts if needed. This is always done to benefit the interviewee, as it means we can focus on the conversation rather than taking notes. If we use transcription, it’s solely to improve accuracy and candidate experience, and we’ll always let you know beforehand.

Yes you can. We want you to work in a way that best suits both you and the organisation, whether that’s mostly at the office or mostly at home.
We intend to be as flexible as possible, provided it makes sense for your role, and you can still collaborate easily with your team. The recruiting manager can explain the options available to you in relation to the team during the interview process.
-
If you don’t see a role that suits you, you can still connect with us through TeamTailor. Click “Connect” on our careers page or use the “Register Your Interest” banner on the homepage. This lets you share your CV and interests so we can reach out when a suitable role becomes available. You can also set up job alerts to stay informed about new opportunities.

We don’t currently run a referral scheme

We always try to get back to you within a few days, although it can take longer if multiple candidates are interviewing for the same role. You’ll receive updates through TeamTailor, and if you have any questions or want to follow up, you can reply directly to your interview email.

Under the Fair Employment & Treatment (NI) Order 1998, we are required to monitor the community background and (binary) sex of job applicants and employees who live in Northern Ireland. Therefore, if you do live in Northern Ireland, we will ask you two further questions.
You do not have to answer these questions and you will not be at any disadvantage if you choose not to do so. We will use your answers to prepare and submit a monitoring return to the Equality Commission, but your identity will be kept anonymous. In all other regards your answers will be treated with the strictest confidence. We will not use your answers to make any decisions affecting you, whether through recruitment or during the course of any employment with us.
If you answer these questions, you are obliged to do so truthfully as it is a criminal offence under the Fair Employment (Monitoring) Regulations (NI) 1999 to knowingly give false answers to these questions. For more information, please visit: www.equalityni.org/Employers-Service-Providers/Large-Business/Registration-and-monitoring/Monitoring
