The Office is at the corner of Thistle Street and St Andrews Square, reachable by multiple bus routes, taxis and close to Edinburgh Waverly Train Station.

Entry to the building is either:
Thistle Street, with 8 stairs up to the lobby.
Thistle Street Northeast Lane, with a small curb and down ramp.
Both routes will lead to stairs or the lift to go to 3rd floor Reception for Energy Saving Trust.
There is a buzzer at either entrance.
Thistle Street Northeast Lane is cobblestoned with narrow pavements, and is not brightly lit.
Parking and cycling here
There is parking and bike storage within the building.
If visiting for the first time, the Office Manager will come down to help you use this. You can email Edinburgh Reception on edinburghreception@est.org.uk or call ahead to book in a space- 0131 555 7872.
The car parking spaces are tight and there is no additional room for self or assisted transfer to a wheelchair.
However, if a blue badge holder it may be more appropriate to park on the street. More detail on Disabled parking can be found on City of Edinburgh Council website.
Toilets
6 individual, self-contained cubicles containing a toilet and a sink.
There are 2 female toilets, 2 male toilets, 1 gender neutral toilet and 1 accessible toilet.
Accessible toilet has an alarm cord, support bars, shelves, and enough space to turn round in a wheelchair.
Free period products are supplied in all cubicles.
There are dedicated toilets on our floor; but outside of the office space, across the landing. You can reenter the office by using a fob or ringing the doorbell to be let in by the Receptionist.
Office set-up
40 open plan desks (hot desks), 1 reception desk, 2 standing desks, and seating in the dining/social space.
Each desk will have either 1 or 2 screens- all adjustable.
The office lights are on timers and sensors so may turn on/off depending on movement.
The office reception desk is staffed, but may have moments of absence (breaks, toilet, meetings, etc).
Kitchenette on-site with multiple drink options, and milk/dairy free milk alternatives.
The office has 4 meeting rooms on-site (from 4-12 person seaters).
Each room has Audio Visual equipment, a table, plants, and chairs appropriate to the size of room.
Each table is at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
The doors are all fire doors but have been softened on closing to be silent.
The air conditioning in the meeting rooms are adjustable (however, best to ask for Office Manager assistance), and the windows can open.
There currently are not any Hearing Loops in the meeting rooms.
Additional information
There is a larger accessible wet room within the building, along with showers and changing rooms if needed.
There are no additional mobility aids on-site to use. If required, guests are advised to bring their own or to request in advance.
There is a wellness room and breakout spaces for any privacy/quiet time needed, however the room access is dependent on availability and other usage.
