Diversity data monitoring and reporting
Diversity data monitoring and reporting
We are committed to developing equitable responses to address the climate emergency for everyone.
To achieve our ambitious mission, we need a diversity of people, experiences and ideas. We aim to create a workplace where everyone feels included and supported to be their best.
When you apply for a role, we ask you to share your diversity related data with us, information about your identity, background and experiences.
Why do we ask for this data and how do we use it?
This data is used for diversity monitoring and reporting purposes only. To protect your privacy, we combine your data with other applicants’ data, which we then use at the group level to help us understand who is applying for our roles, identify any inequalities or underrepresented groups in our recruitment process, and develop actions to improve representation and fairness.
We report on anonymised diversity data and trends internally, externally and in some situations, we may share with third-party providers or public authorities to support our equity, diversity and inclusion work.
The information you provide in this section is not part of the selection process and will not impact your application. It will be treated in confidence and only used by employees undertaking diversity related analysis, monitoring and reporting relating to the above purposes.
We understand this data is sensitive and personal and will always ensure we comply with the relevant data protection legislation to keep your data safe and secure.
You do not have to share anything you’re uncomfortable with. You can select ‘prefer not to say’ for any question.
For more information on how we process your data, see our data protection policy.
